A massive thanks to everyone who came to Indian Summer this year, we had a blast and we hope you did too.

13 July: Times for the weekend

We've had a lot of request from people asking about times and tickets so...yes, there are still *some* tickets available from our ticket page on the site, but be quick!
The gates will open at 2pm each day, and there is a box office near the gates for those who need to collect tickets. First bands are on at 2.20pm each day, and event ending time each day is 10.30pm. We hope this helps! We hope you're excited!

4 July: Listen with the BBC

For your listening pleasure both BBC 6 Music and BBC Radio Scotland will be in Victoria Park to record the best sets from the weekend.

*BBC 6 Music will be broadcasting live from the park, talking to bands and bringing you extra special sessions. These shows (available to listen again online) are Queen of Noize (Saturday 4 – 6pm), Music Week (Sunday 1 – 2pm) and Guy Garvey (Sunday 8 – 10pm)

26 June: BEANSCENE tent

Brand new for this year!
As well as providing an in-tent version of the Glasgow coffee-house's chilled in-store vibe and refreshments - even its renowned comfy sofas - the Beanscene Tent will feature a range of live performances from the pick of the crop of acoustic music artists from its own in-store circuit.

The folk behind Beanscene said, "The Indian Summer weekender shares the same ethos as Beanscene - after all, Beanscene is a state of mind, somewhere to kick back, relax and take life in on its most simple and enjoyable level - so bringing the two together makes perfect sense."

Turns out we don't have John Travolta winging our way to the weekender, but we do have some surprises in store...

SORRY - THIS COMPETITION HAS NOW CLOSED
BBC 6 Music's programme the "6 Mix" has launched a fantastic competition to win a DJ slot at Indian Summer. More details on how to apply can be found here:

To give a bit more information, one lucky person will win the chance to play on the main stage at Indian Summer, but the exact slot will be kept a secret until nearer the time. They will get the chance to play to thousands of avid music fans and then the set will also be broadcast on national digital radio station BBC 6 Music. The 6 Mix, which has seen the likes Franz and Belle and Sebastian mix is one of BBC 6 Music's linchpins. Over the last year it's sister show the Listeners 6 Mix has been really popular, so get yer setlists at the ready!

20 May: Explosions in the Sky: CANCELLED

Folks, we are sorry to say that Explosions in the Sky have cancelled all shows all over the world from now until September, due to family problems. We're guessing you are as sad about this as we are and as the band themselves are, but understand that it really can't be helped. So, yes there is a main stage slot to be filled now and we'll update you as soon as we can. Actually, we trust you: Who would you like to see???

14 May: Summer Sports

Yep, the summer sports area in the lovely Victoria Park is back by public demand. It'll be open again to satisfy all your lawn-bowl cravings, so you can challenge Wayne Coyne to a spot of croquet, and to see who'll dare take on the whole of I'm From Barcelona for a putting marathon. Get practising.
